Sodium thiosulfate can be used for tanning leather and extracting silver from ore; it can be used to remove chlorine from tap water and is widely used in aquaculture; it is clinically used to treat skin pruritus, urticaria, drug eruption, cyanide, thallium poisoning and arsenic poisoning, etc., and is treated by intravenous injection.
